About Us
In Paz y Desarrollo we don’t want to define ourselves under the classical definition of Non Governmental Development Organization.
Why?
Our definition is not easy to define through the acronym NGDO. It is important that the civil society knows about our continuous and day to day fight…
-
Through our cooperation projects and programs we pretend to develop the capacities of those with whom we work in Latin America, Asia and Africa. The most important thing about our job is that those who benefit from it are the main characters of the cooperation projects and programs, with which they can develop their own development skills in a proactive and self-supporting way. We try to unite all of the greater mainstays of cooperation, specially the empowerment of men and women as a motor development.
-
We fight to achieve equality rights and conditions for men and women in North and South. In order to do so, we have integrated a precise and reliable gender policy which defines the main values for which Paz y Desarrollo actively fights.
-
We defend the essential values and principles to achieve a fair society both in the North and South. We believe that by promoting values such as equality and social justice we will be able to achieve a social transformation.
